On September 30th, in Medellin, Colombia, The legendary Amadeus ceased to exist. A son of Resorte IV and the mare Maria Centeno; this majestic black stallion was a colossus among the Colombian Paso Fino breed. Amadeus produced over 200 champions, such as Atrevido del 8, Patrimonio del 8, and Resplandor III del 8, that have gone on to become Paso Fino icons all around the world. His splendid presence of remarkable power and impeccable execution was projected and internationally renowned in countries such as the United States, Puerto Rico, Venezuela and the Dominican Republic , among many others.

La Grange, Kentucky is not exactly a well known name in the Paso Fino World. It’s located near Louisville and Lexington, two locations synonymous with horses. However, thanks to Pedro Bello, owner of Hacienda Santa Lucia, that is soon about to change. Once again in its onward journey, The Galopando TV crew had the pleasure of taking a gander at this exemplary ranch.
